If I was that willing to die, I would start riding Harleys. If you want to talk about being in the pocket of oil companies, you need to talk about gore taking paychecks from Occidental ever since he was a little boy, at the insistence of his father, who was in bed with Armand Hammer. What legislation about recycling has ever come up in the national Congress??? I have seen Democrat and Republican individuals alike, refuse to recycle because they don't want to take the time. The worst ones are these new .com millionaires that think their Sh*t don't stink, and won't lift a finger to protect the environment, and many, if not most, of them are Democrat liberals that are dumb enough to think that the liberals are responsible for the economic boom. I don't see how any environmental legislation could be enforced, so would be another liberal hole into which the liberals want to pour money to try to fill up. Recycling, and concern for the environment is an individual concept that government cannot legislate. I wish every person did care about the environment, but they don't and no amount of government mumbo jumbo is going to make it so. Which brings to mind that the market is rapidly turning bear on the liberal's watch. Nobody can blame that on Bush either All Gore does is write books about the environment, and gives it lip service, but he has done, absolutely, nothing in 8 years to improve it. He lies about his concern there too. Bush has strengthened the restrictions on emission, ground level, and underground, pollution. Yes, the sun shines behind the clouds, but since gore can't stand the heat, he will melt in it's presence. ~H~
