Dave: Re: "If Bush is not campaigning in California, how come I saw no Gore commercials on San Diego television? Bush had several while I was there."

See my most recent message to Neo. Bush has more money to spend than Gore, and all the good time slots for TV ads in the battleground states already have been sold right up to election day. Pretty much split 50-50 between Dems and Repubs. Gore is using his money wisely. No need to campaign in California if he's already got the state in his hip pocket.

Maybe it's just where I live, but I seldom see a left-wing bumper sticker anymore. What do the U.N. stickers say?

Re: NPR. I don't listen to NPR much. It's kind of New England/New York elitist. They need to air more stories about common people who live in other parts of the country, like the Midwest. I also dislike the fact that the No. 1 or No. 2 story on NPR without fail is what's happening in the Middle East. Don't get me wrong, what happens in the Middle East is important, but when nothing is happening in the Middle East, it's still the No. 1 or No. 2 story every day on NPR. We need more AM radio stations that present middle-of-the-road viewpoints as opposed to right-wing "truth twisters" like Limbaugh, Liddy, and even Dr. Laura.
