Unfortunately I tend to agree with Mike. At $350 an hour Pappas can stay as busy as he wants at VARL, until he finds a "worthy" replacement. The problem with many companies, including micro cap companies like VARI-L is that the closely held board of directors often considers of paramount importance their personal liability, and they are concerned mainly with trying to "cover their buns" when things go awry, versus protecting the shareholders investment. Granted, some of them own VARI-L stock, but they also have other assets they don't want to lose in any potential litigation down the road.

If Pappas and the board are more concerned about the inner sanctum/circle of the board and not us, this is not a good thing!

I think we need a qualified COO and CFO from the technology industry who are willing to step in and turn this thing around - pronto. IMO the technology is probably good enough to power VARI-L right through and past the litigation and professional expenses, or it is at least a likely candidate for a takeover/merger of some kind - as long as Pappas and the gang can keep the financing and vender relationships solid until the new executives are found. Let's hope that is their agenda.
