This was a product line that had a lot of promise back in the mid 1990s but never got off the ground. They are well rid of this albatross. The main focus now is on high temperature superconductors. That's where the potential is.

IMG under Epstein is concentrating on where the corporate assets have the greatest current returns - MRI business and where the greatest future lies - Superconductivity.
To spend valuable corporate assets of time / capital and not earn very high returns is JUST NOT in the share holders interest!!
Glen has done a superb job and is spending our capital and his time where he sees the best results !!

Alfred,
I see others have already answered your post. I just wanted to add my two cents. The issue with IMG at present is one of strategic direction and asset management. That is why I feel it is of little value to research the profit margin on a discontinued product line.
The FRIGG product line was "toyed" around with for over 5 years. The truth is that it is a very competitive product line, where so many other alternatives are available, that IMG's technological advantage was of limited marketing effect.
I agree with the other posters responding that Epstein seems to have gotten it right. I expect IMG's trunaround to continue to surprise on the upside for the next few quarters.
Good luck

The pe on this stock is 46 .......Who would pay that kind of pe for a refrigeration business?

This stock's price will live or die depending on the potential of it's superconducting division.....

The sale of that division and the resulting increasing concentration on superconducting has been and will be a plus for share holders........
