Good try but you can't rain on me. Nokia hedges itself extensively against currency fluctuations so the change in real earnings is truer than you want to believe. That argument doesn't hold any weight. Nokia also has more exposure to the yen than many seem to understand. Analysts focus on profitability trends and don't concern themselves much with changes in currency translations. Their emphasis is primarily on profitability trends as reflected in margins, and here Nokia really shines: 19.5% net margin for handsets in a bad quarter! They are in a world all their own. The other point of emphasis is future guidance and here management's statement is equally splendid.

P.S. Sell your shares if you don't like it.
