X, I can see no reason that a person can't be both an agnostic and an atheist.

atheist: someone who believes that God or gods do not exist

agnostic: someone who believes that it is impossible to know whether or not God exists

I am aware that nothing can be known with absolute certainty, but I fail to see why that should prohibit me from having beliefs, or why those beliefs are silly. In that case, all beliefs are silly. Is that what you are saying?

I believe that I have to go now. My tire has a slow leak, but I believe it can be fixed.
