Michael, just a side note. Roger Carnahan's nickname is Randy. But so political is Whopper Al, that the Democrat-loving St. Louis Post-Dispatch carried banner headlines this morning about the Gores' visit yesterday with Jean Carnahan, with a description of their walking up the steps of the Governor's mansion in Jefferson City. Plus mention of the Clintons' and the Gores' attendance at the funeral later this week. Don't get me wrong - Carnahan was a respected and well-liked man here in Missouri and should deserve this attention. My complaint? Carnahan would not have received this attention had he been the governor of, say, Idaho. Their phoniness shines through. And in the photo, Gore was not wearing his 3" stacked heels as he did Tuesday night.
