ST. LOUIS -- If instant reaction and analysis are correct, Al Gore may have won his final debate against George W. Bush, but the outcome of the presidential race is still far from certain.

Five high school and college debate coaches rated the debate for The Associated Press, and four declared Gore the winner of the Tuesday night faceoff at Washington University. And debate watchers responding to a USA TODAY/CNN/Gallup Poll said they also thought -- by a 46 percent to 44 percent margin -- that the vice president did a better job than the Texas governor..........KEEP READING!
