That's certainly an interesting take Rambi. No, I don't remember what precipitated Gore's close in move toward Bush. I just think he was being weird.

I know what you mean about Bush in the debates. At times his answers did seem scripted. But I'm not asking for a scholar to be President. Or the slickest debater in the world. I simply want a person who is honest and decent. Someone who's going to hold up the honor and decency of the place, while trying to get a few initiatives started, such as school reform and privatizing social security.

And I want him to be able to listen to thoughtful people during times of crisis, in order to come to sound decisions.

Bush has those characteristics to me, and Gore clearly doesn't. Gore is actually the antithesis of it to me.
