Dear Bob: Hummmm... No change? Then where did JCJ get the $135 target?

Do you think we are experiencing the transition from coverage by Steve to Thomas?

Personally, I did not care for the first paragraph in the "meat" portion of Thomas' report--too cutsie:

"My friend Jim just couldn’t catch a break. During his
senior year, he got into Harvard, Bowdoin, and a slew of
other mediocre institutions of higher learning. But
Princeton, in its infinite wisdom, waitlisted him. His
parents were, and get ready for this, disappointed. Me
thinks Jim and Sun Microsystems have a lot in common."

It just goes to show that this price target is a function of the stock price not fundamentals.

People tell me Sun produces top-of-the-line quality products. More and more people use JAVA so I would not be surprised to see the stock price jump, especially with the split coming up.

Cheers,
