DMA: OT: It's a character flaw - too optimistic - and it's gotten me into trouble before now through refusing to believe bad things about stocks I've owned (CPQ and COMS a couple of years ago come to mind). But some major losses like those and some 100% option position losses have taught me to rein in my enthusiasm and be a little quicker to at least get out of the way when storm clouds appear. But I do have a hard time shorting stocks - only once in 5 years! Maybe time to follow TG's advice and try more to play both sides of the market with my trading $$. David T.
