there's probably a sense that the recent more upbeat earnings reports from softie and NOK mean CSCO won't disappoint either. and that is probably correct: they won't disappoint. however, the stock remains ridiculously overvalued...so the buying is 'because it's going up', the same attitude that has brought about the bubble psychologically and has led to multiple failures this year.

btw, this rally allows for a most interesting wave count modification...more later.
