Respectfully disagree.

It takes differing views to make a market. TA tends to advise that the trend is just going to continue ad nauseam. FA yields the insight to know when a trend change is likely to stick.

In the recent downturn, the TA practitioners have taken stocks in many sectors down to a vastly oversold position.
Those who've gone short to do so are likely to have their heads handed to them. if not in the current upturn, in an impending one.

FA has allowed me to go from 65% cash near the end of May to less than 5% today. Until I see the fundamentals change, I'll hold until I'm sufficiently well rewarded. ... and I do tend to be a little bit greedy. :^)
