Look this could go on all day with the nit picking. This whole thread was as a result of your comments regarding a particular occurrence during the debate when Gore directed a question to Bush about quotas. Bush gave a reply and when nagged by Gore for a further response, Bush deferred to the moderator to restore order to the debate. Please don't make it more or less than it was. But when it comes to understanding things, shouldn't you cite a reference regarding the origin to what you quote? Ever hear of context? And, yes, I think context is a problem for the Bush and his supporters. You're acting as if the Bush camp never attempted to twist Gore's remarks out of context, while ignoring their own faults.> I don't know where you are going with this. Not sure it even make sense to me. I was speaking to some of your twists as evidenced above. I was not referring to either the Gore or Bush efforts at twists, that could take up another whole thread and appears to be another one of your pickles. As to the quote, I do not know the author, It's on a plaque which has sat on my desk for years and one I save for just such moments as this.
