Beth, No you don't have to worry. MP3 files are not program files. That is they are not active and cannot contain a virus. A virus must reside in a program that does something such as a .com or .exe file. Or a macro file contained in a Word document. Files with extensions: .MOV .AVI .MP3 .TXT .DBF .GIF .JPG are all content files that do not initiate instructions to the computer. A corrupt file is not the same as a virus. Corrupt meaning not copied exactly, not meaning a file that has come over to the dark side. You don't have to worry about Napster files containing a virus. And the Napster program has not virus code so your can run it without worry. When in doubt about a file, just run McAfee's Virus scan after downloading before doing anything with it. Hope this helps.
