Spare us the ponderous psycho-babble, Puck. Many QCOM holders also hold NOK. I have an indirect holding which I have the ability to influence. I've never suggested a sale, even in the recent downdraft.

It's a fine company with one weak area which it needs to rectify quickly. Shipment of 3G phones in 2002 will simply not cut it. The Asians will eat Nokia's lunch if the timetable is not pushed up.

Puck- Nok doesn't make Q feel insecure, believe me. We follow Nok cuz they are the lead dog for the evil empire. Nok to become a dominant player in CDMA handsets and chips, that looks very unlikely. Also, don't forget WCDMA handsets and infra need a 3G license from Q.

I suspect that things will happen in the licensing arena extremely quickly when contracts are announced for CDMA in China. Until then Nok and the Euros will hype GSM until they pay up or head for the hills.

Of course if the China CDMA buildout doesn't happen, or it happens very slowly, then the good guys are screwed!

Congrats on the up 26% day!
