USA TODAY, along with CNN and the Gallup organization, will release each day through Nov. 7 results of a continuing presidential preference poll. Each day's results are based on responses from the three preceding days. Results will be updated daily at about 5 p.m. ET. The poll's margin of error is +/- 4 points. Wednesday's results: George W. Bush increased his lead over Al Gore 48%-42%. These numbers do not reflect the results of Tuesday night's debate, as almost all polling was conducted before the contest. Those results will not be fully included in the tracking poll until the end of the week. usatoday.com
