It's a totally valid question...and this is my answer.

I use the 45M chart because it is divisible into the 405 minutes that the S&P futures trades each day. And if you divide that by 3, you get 15M. Divide by 3 again, and you get 5M. So I use 5M/15M/45M/daily to watch the S&P. I am sure that the 30 and the 60 minute charts also did the 2B as well.
