WORKING THE DOWNSIDE:

The downside is still being worked very strongly in MRVC.

An example in 10 minutes,(from 1:23 to 1:33) MRVC was moved down $2.75 from $43.50 to $40.75 at a time when NAZ, SOX, NWX were all going up.

One guess is that the short sellers have worked out just how much they have to seed the market with sequentially lower orders to move it down (and down she goes). Do all the higher bids vanish for a time, because it goes pretty much straight down?

Or, alternatively it looks to me that the market makers have some larger orders at lower prices and they drive the price down in order to be able to fill them.

Do these things actually happen, or am I letting my paranoia run rampant again?

Best wishes,
Jim
