One glaring thing the associate editor of that Tallahassee Democrat article failed to point out, is that Lieberman has done an about-face and abandoned his positions on school vouchers, Hollywood's marketing of violence and sex to children, and his other moderate, independent positions, all since joining the Gore ticket. He's lost that moderate, independent image by conforming with his boss, Gore.

Another, oversight, of course, is that if Al Gore doesn't need a script or teleprompter, it's because he often just makes up the facts as he goes along. Perhaps Bush is a little more reserved and judicious. Is that bad?

In fact, I would contend that based upon the debates, we saw the REAL Gore -- or the several unknown Gores -- and that it is he (or they), not Bush, who needs a pre-prepared script and teleprompter in order to avoid misrepresenting the facts.
