Mark, Sell 43% of Palm only if it's the only stock you earn. If Palm is not the only stock you hold every time you get the sell palm idea go stick you finger in an electrical socket then go kiss you wife.

Why not wait until the end of the year, or say early January (then the cap gains aren't due until April 2002!)? Then you will be able to sell even less of your PALM to get the same result!

And if you wait another year, even your wife may agree to selling around 5-10% to get "free" holdings in COMS/PALM.

My wife has the key to our PALM piggy bank. I'm happy to play the options game on the retracements.
