Since I can't presume to know what you know, I was just clarifying the position further. If we are just an expanding bubble in a pot of water (my belief in multiple, non-interacting or weakly-interacting universes, then that is exactly what we are), our perceptions are lying to us. We see a "whole" where actually we are viewing a "part". You get very different results when you start looking at things this way.

Look at how confusing and illogical it is to think that speed doesn't matter when you are in a closed inertial frame. None of us would survive a two hour trip at 750 km/hr if we were simply in a seat at 15km without the rest of the jet. The fact is that when we are isolated from the external system, we can sleep through that activity.

Similarly, to draw conclusions about the consequences of speed through the atmosphere, and the effects on the human body WITHOUT this context leads one to draw the wrong conclusion about the general phenomenon.
