It is possible that the big bang was merely an oscillation- and that the universe expands and contracts in an infinite series of big bangs. OR something may always exist- but not in this dimension- and the big bang that we perceive was just a pop out of whatever was already there, into the dimension we can perceive and that we call our universe. Or it might be that there is a God- but there isn't any evidence for it.

No, the singularity from which Our Universe came from is merely the start of This Universe. I subscribe to a many universe theory (like bubbles in a pot). The problem with a singularity is only that our mathematical description of the exact moment of creation stops. That isn't to say that Everything started then, just the Everything we can see and understand. That is an entirely different thing than the Everything I speak of.
