Tumbleweed, Rather interesting! Did you read the SDMI initiative in PDF format? It says the first generation of such devices will be available to consumers in DECEMBER, 1999, Just in time for the holiday season! Gosh, I can't wait for last Christmas! Do they think hackers are going to hack now just to show them how to defeat the hack? Wonder what the color of the the sky is in their LaLa land? Let the first such device with this secure encryption, and they will see a hack so fast their heads will spin. Heard in a whisper in the night, "build it and no one will come....ever."
