I think it's true that Hawking does not go beyond the big bang. that is where the trail ends. I am merely saying that it needs a cause. I don't pretend to understand QM and from the way I've seem it explained nobody else does either. I watched Steven Hawking's world a couple of weeks ago, at the end he said something about how the big bang could describe the how, it is not able to answer the why. If we could answer that, he said, we would know the mind of God.(paraphrase) Have a good day Greg
