Yes they do pay taxes. They also employ a lot of people including immigrants fresh of the public dole who pay taxes.
Support someone who is not in love with the Washington elite.

You better do some more studying before you take that citizenship exam.

But now that you bring it up....

Why should corporations pay taxes? If they didn't have to, as they don't in some countries, their required returns on investment would drop and they would be able to invest more.

The United States will have to wake up very soon and realize that many companies can locate anywhere and will do so where the tax rates are lowest. In the age of the Internet, there is little need to be physically located in the U.S. Look at the cruise stocks like Carnival. They are based in Panama and pay no U.S. income tax. This is the trend of the future.
