Yesterday, we reported on Craig Barrett's comments regarding Intel's partnership with Intel in The Financial Times. You can find the full link to that article here, which details the many Rambus-related problems the company has dealt with over the past few years.

Barrett's open admission of the partnership with Rambus as a mistake doesn't bode well for Rambus' future in the PC market. Indeed, while the company's earnings report yesterday was upbeat, they certainly have some things to worry about for the future. As stated yesterday, near-term revenue for the company is dependant predominately upon product ramps of the PlayStation2 in the US and the Pentium 4.
