"Ride the High Country" may be tough to find. "The Apostle" was on the dish last year so it's only a year into video release. Neat movie about the love of God and human frailties.

"The Man Who Would Be King" with Sean Connery, and Michael Caine."

Fantastic movie.

If you haven't seen it yet, I recommend "Gallipoli" with a young Mel Gibson. One of the best war films ever made, in my opinion, yet unrecognized.

Unfortunately, I never saw it all the way through.....Did I ever tell you my Sean Connery story? I was in a line at LAX to return home after a trip, and I suddenly realized that the voice of the man in front of me sounded familiar. His back was still to me, so it took a few moments before I got much of a look at him. He was balding, and so it took an extra moment or two (this was before Connery mostly stopped wearing rugs). Lo, there I was standing next to Sean Connery, who was confused about the line he was supposed to be in, with no entourage and a hard looking sort of woman. It turned out that he indeed needed to go elsewhere. He was on his way to Florida to golf, leaving me to wonder that he would not find southern California and Arizona adequate for the purpose. He seemed very nice and unself-conscious, and had a strong but low key presence. A few years later, when he was in The Untouchables, I thought the character he played was much more like him than Bond.......
