How much better can growth get from 2000 to 2001. What will growth be from 2001 to 2002, maybe 30% to 40%. What's that worth?

Growth can get much, much better from 2001 to 2002. Royalty revenue is 100% gross margin. As it heads toward a larger percentage of the total, EPS growth should accelerate. And I think AWRE management is smart with Wall Street guidance. They are probably going to do MUCH better than 16 cents next quarter, raise the forecast again, and repeat that process each subsequent quarter. That was their process (raise expectations each quarter) through 2000, probably will be the same next year.

Your PE analysis should have a much higher future E, because management is probably low-balling the forecast.

If you wanna short something, you've picked a strange choice.

Charlie's question shows that AWRE is only using ADI sales for their forcast and Charlie got them to to say that pretty much. ADI is a top notch company and has an outstanding product line with the management to go with it...they will sell more than they have said...just like they've already done this year. Now we know that another company, yet to be announced, is contributing 10% to revenues. The 10%ers will most likely increase their sales of chips so we then will continue our growth.

You should have covered your short position...I feel for you Bobo.
