Why would a specialist pay any attention to this journal if it wasn't, in their opinion, a top notch journal or at least a highly credible journal. I find your argument that it "is merely a specialty journal" very weak. If a group of "MD's that specialize in this field" validate the study -- which is what publication in this "specialty journal" would mean to me -- the logical conclusion to draw is that specialty MD's who should know best are accepting that the stuff appears to work rather than dismiss it as voodoo science as you have. Which, incidentally, brings us to another occasion where it appears you may have been wrong (actually, I believe you were absolutely wrong but I am trying to be polite).

My original point is that the conviction with which you make your predictions has you appearing a little foolish when things don't pan out as you have foretold.

Of course I don't expect that to change as I also believe you have proven over and over again that your mind is closed and that you cannot conceive of an occasion where your opinions might prove errant. It must be nice to feel perfect in your own mind.

Good luck with your short position.
