Tom...that's a great story...except for one point...
you described my life perfectly from beginning to end....

For me it was the army...I joined two weeks after my
17th birthday to escape where I was and start building
something for the future...

I've now got something even closer to home to help me
keep things in perspective...My wife had a mamogram done
that didn't look good so the doctors ordered an ultrasound
which looked even worse...we were informed that it was
almost certainly cancer and the radiologist advised
immediate surgery...

Her personal DR ordered a new procedure called a "wire
guided biopsy" be done...I'm sure y2k knows more about that
than I do...my wife described it as having a hollow drill
bit in a black and decker drilled into her breast at several
locations in a circle around the suspect area...very painful...

Yesterday we got the news that it was not cancer! The
experts were wrong!!! Without getting into religion, I
believe that this was the healing hand of God, whatever
you chose to call him...

The stock market has meant nothing to me recently...
I have a whole new perspective on what's really important...
My call to Scott Deitler yesterday regarding DNAP...
is the first DD I've done in sometime....

I feel like I've been through a trial by fire and I'm
finally back...but with a completely different outlook...
Living, day to day, has a whole new meaning for me now...
I've resolved to try to never take life for granted again...

thanks for sharing your story...

There are still some things that are more important in life than stocks and money.

Uh, uh, uh? I know! Sex and a good ole Pabst Blue Ribbon! LOL. Just kidding.

Tom, I couldn't agree more.

My life has taken about the same twist as yours. The only difference with my life than yours; half the stuff I tell you about my life you would never believe me. The other half, I will never tell you.

Now I have two beautiful boys. My wife was the one bringing in the big bucks up until a year ago. She quit her job and we paid off all of our bills including the house.

We don't owe anyone a dime. What a nice feeling that is.

Also, I can close my eyes at night knowing that anything I have done, said or told was relayed to me by those lying, cheating, CEOs, IB,and IRs. I know if I close my eyes tonight; I know I gave it my all.

For y2, I think his nose is getting to close to those pap smears. LOL Just kidding y2. You know I love you.

Cheers

RG
