Corv is currently my largest position (other than lt buy and holds like HD, PG, BP, XOM, and banks). I haven't been one of those buy on the dips people although I thought Corv's story was too compelling for its valuation to stay depressed compared to some others. I know it had yet to make any money or even actually sell anything when it IPO'd but the story is too compelling to be ignored - optical switching and all optical nets (corv is in the top tier here) and cross country transmission without regeneration (corv is pretty much alone here right now). So loading up so much on corv has been pretty out of character for me this year but I believe its future is quite bright. The earnings report was quite bright.biz.yahoo.com I bought another one of your favorites akam at 35.9375 on 10/6 which turned out to be just off the low. The future is bright here also. I've seen a lot of people calling bottoms on the market over the last month - some have been posting daily that each day was the bottom and now we go up. Most appeared to be pleading/praying for a bottom as they continued to buy almost anything on the dips and continued to get hammered. I'm still not convinced we've seen the bottom but I am convinced that there are excellent entry points available now for selected stocks, hence my positions in corv and akam with minimal downside risk because of my entry points. Or at least the risk is such that I am willing to take it on this companies. On others the risk/reward ratio is not yet of my liking and danger still lurks in indiscriminate buying of the entire tech sector. I'll continue my daily reviews of other beaten downs to see if there is any there there for me. I am quite interested in GST's fave isld as well as cmrc, nite, and elon. Good luck, Jerry
