Thanks for the feedback. You make total sense in regards to how the investment houses mislead the little individual investor!

As to the covered calls, I am not sure how you lost money UNLESS you sold your underlying INTC shares after they had gone down in value. You are right about missing big moves up at times. That is why one should not cover all of one's shares with calls.
