"If Bush was a "drunk" as you describe him in his past it shows that there is potential for change for a person. I predict he will become one of our greatest Presidents."

Hey, it worked for Grant, why the hell shouldn't it work for Shrub?

It's a great theory, vote for an alcoholic, and hope that the unbearable pressure and stress of being president will cure him of his alcoholism.

Works every time (hic! hic! hic!)

Frank: All I can say is God bless you for having so much faith and confidence in GWB. I hope all your expectations come true, provided he is elected as our next president. However, we both know the truth usually lies somewhere in the middle. If elected president, GWB will surprise me in a few areas and disappoint you in a few others. If the polls are to be believed, the anti-Clinton-Gore backlash is greater than I thought. Still, I expect Gore to bring this race back to near-even by Nov. 1 with one last push. We shall see. I have been wrong before.
