leverage going bad may become a factor in the ongoing denouement...the heavy buying of futures to ramp us into expiration may even have been designed to bail someone out. i'm sure there's already a mini LTCM out there somewhere...those spreads blowing out - somebody must be eating huge losses by now. one should actually short/poot a cross-section of financials...as soon as the victims come out to confess there should be an industry-wide "valuation adjustment"...
