Today I received in the mail AMES' 72-page full color toy sale catalogue. The toy sale runs from October 25th thru November 21st. I received another catalogue from AMES last week as well, and indicates to me that the company is very promotion-minded. Last I knew these catalogues were produced in-house by Ames as a cost savings measure, and I can say this is very professionally done. The company seems to be trying to get an early start on the holiday shopping season, and this looks like a good start.

I too have noticed the volume drying up nicely, and feel Ames can at least break even in the third quarter, which at this time is scheduled to be reported on November 9th. With consensus estimates of around +0.07/share, - here's hoping.

I don't know exactly why, but I'm getting at least slightly different readings on falling trend-line resistance on my system than you are. For example, today on my screen AMES was trying to break above falling trend-line resistance once again..... Perhaps I have a unique screen or something! <grin> Anyway, it has worked well for quite some time now, so I'll leave it the way it is. Maybe I can patent it. <big grin> Another sour day today. Yogi
