Paul, Re: And now you essentially do the same.

Right, 'essentially' because, in this case, the information copied from the Register is entirely accurate.

Are you telling us that the P4 does not require special steppers, or that other FABs are currently producing that CPU? If so, please make a simple statement of fact to that effect. Like this:

'The P4 does not require special steppers.'

'The P4 is currently being produced in additional facilities besides the Israeli fab.'

If either of those statements are true, you should have no trouble stating them. You've come very close to IMPLYING them, why not be direct about it?

Doug

Paul, re:<For a guy who uncovered Jonathan Joseph plagiarizing the YUK Register, you ...essentially do the same>

No, I did not invent a false source for my information, in fact, I didn't remember the source for the information or attribute it to anyone, but simply stated it as fact that P4 needs special steppers.

Also, I am not being paid a seven digit salary to write reports for clients who are investing gigabucks either.

By the way, the reports of a price war are vastly exaggerated, since the the prices announced by AMD are considerably higher than those reported in the REGISTER, miscacluated by Jonathan Joseph, and regurgitated incorrectly by hordes of analysts. But I suppose that Jonathan Joseph "doesn't do" retractions.
