So they get the stock put to them. Big deal, they want to buy more stock anyway. Or, if it's more stock then they want, they can just pay the delta. The total delta is insignificant relative to their total cash position. Besides, the expiration dates are from now until 2003 and it looks likely to me that the stock will be above the strike price for the most part. Today was a good start. The puts issue is not significant, IMO. Especially if they bet correctly and the stock is at $70 or higher.
