Jokes are funny. Gore has a good sense of humor. It is really dishonest though for Bush himself to tell a "I invented the internet" joke when Gore never said that and was in fact the leading proponent for the internet in congress when the system really needed funding. He deserves a lot of credit for what we're doing right now and that's no joke. The real inventor of the internet from the 60's gave Gore full credit in a news story recently. Gore never did and never would say such a stupid thing and the GOP knows it. They are using jokes though to try and drum in that blatant lie. Meanwhile they are being as dishonest as any politician or party ever trying to evade and cover up Bush's many failures, cold-heartedness and short-comings.
