We Had Lift Off.....

>>1:10 PM 10/18/00:

This could be a transformative event for both companies.

MSFT: $51 and 9 teenies and counting...

NOVL: $ 7 3/4 and waiting....>>

I believe with the split Gates will have free reign to embrace, collaborate and cooperate with ALL companies.

Those that DON'T open up and play by these new transformative rules - including Microsoft - will be arbitraged very quickly to ZERO.

Sit back and watch.

Peace.

GO!!

Frederick - Can you give me any reason why MSFT would want to start an effort in Utah? The value of the company is primarily in the people resources they have built, and those resources are 95% in Redmond. Those people are not likely to move to Utah. As I said in an earlier post, they could not even get people to move to Silicon Valley, which is presumably an attractive area and a good career move for anyone in high tech.

I just can't see a reason why that rumor would have ANY basis.
