The Gore camp is inundating the public with radio adds in the State of Washington. They must be spending a fortune. And of course, the most popular add is dishonest. Here's how it goes. "Seniors, George Bush wants to TAKE trillions of dollars out of social security and give it to young people. The Wall Street Journal says he can't have it both ways. The risk is yours".... That's not an exact quote, but based on my memory. It's much longer than that, but the jest is Bush is robbing social security and giving it to young people. Negative, negative, negative. What else from the team which invented "The politics of personal destruction". The T.V. abortion add which is running at night basically goes down this same path. Everything is negative, negative, and attacking toward Bush. Didn't Gore promise not to attack Bush during the campaign a few weeks ago? What else is new, Whopper Al number 1000! :)
