The news media folks are beside themselves trying to "help" Gore to decide how to win this thing in the last minute.

You could see them go into high gear as Bush pulled ahead in the polls.

Gore, who is HIS OWN MAN, by his own admission, seems to not be. It looks like he will have to let the Perp in chief go out ahead of him and try to beat the brush down.
