the smoke and mirrors are the vast sums of money that finacial institutions pull out of the market on daily basis, which the gov't pulls out of cap gains taxes, and which foreigners keep pumping into our markets and currency. Well, the Japanese thought they were getting good deals on real estate in the 80's and I bet DT think they got a good deal on VSTR.

If you beleive the media, then it is un-american to short and to have bear markets. The funinest thing is when Bob Pissonme of CNBC talks about how he calls around to floor traders to find out the dilly-o...it must be a running joke how they tell him whatever it is they need to move so he can tell the CNBsheep.

Anyway, no more ranting, it will fall when they can't hold it up anymore. At least topline revenues can't be faked by companies, except maybe PCLN.
