Bilow,
You concentrated on the side issue of CL2 vs CL3 but not on the main issue. That of "generics" vs "name brands" like Crucial. As I mentioned, all the parts sold for RDRAM are tested and validated under the same program at NEC & Samsung which is not true for SDRAM and especially generics (which could be anything and most usually is junk). This is why most people buy their SDRAM from Crucial. They expect it to work.
