keith..."what to do with calls"

i'd have to defer to others, as i'm not normally a call buyer...prefer a "cash-in vs cash-out" approach in options....so i play the short side....(today i will accept an assignment of 10k atml at 21.25...cost adjusted to a bit below 15...decided i want to own....)

market still hasn't confirmed a sustainable advance...usually takes higher volume follow through rally within about a week....last week it attempted and failed....today's action not indicative of anything as option positions are being settled...monday afternoon though would give a clearer sign of continued buy interest, if any!...

Hi Keith! Not really asking, just kind of talking out loud here...but would love to know what others are doing with similar calls.

I do have very similar calls. Jan- March JDSU, QCOM, NTAP..etc, etc....that doesnt really matter....

This time of year, as you know, we should go up from here, but who really knows?

I was loading up in the low 3000's on Nasdaq, and my plan is to unload about half of those around Nas 3600...(almost there already..WOW)...taking some nice profits and then let the rest ride for awhile. I mean the potential is incredible...even if we just get back to the 4200 level, which is a real good possiblity.

But dont be afraid to take some profits....don't be greedy.(yea..listen to me, MR greedy.<g>)

The cash I hold now(about 25%), and the cash I'll get from my anticipated sales soon(I hope, I hope)....I'll save for the possiblity we see more testing of the lows this year.....or heaven forbid..new lows.

Just some thoughts on how I'm planning things....good luck.
