I Suggest "Click 'Back' to review your search criteria" if there was Nothing Found.

That's the KISS principle!

Thank you,
Joe

During one of the upgrades, the <outbox> function became impaired. It typically takes > 1 minute to retrieve the information, as compared to a few seconds for the <inbox>. Is this a permanent limitation based on SI's latest architecture?

uf

btw, I'm using a dsl connection.

OK, I saved my search as 'Template1 defaults'
(I left all the other selections as the defaults SI
provided), and I searched for coddington, and
I get the result:

Search Results for 'Template1 defaults'

Ojing,

ie, I found this thread.

So, search indeed works.
Though again, it would be very useful to remind users
just what message text was they were searching for,

eg
Search Results for 'Template1 defaults' for coddington

I'm amazed that it finds only two matches for 'coddington'
though.

also, you could make it clearer that the
Edit | Delete | New refer to the
most recently used search template.

Also, I don't fully understand the
'Subjects: Limits search to specific Silicon Investor subjects.

does the Include These Subject Marks
mean include only these subjects ?

there is no button to reset the subjects to ALL subjects
(not all words in specified subject) after accidently
clicking on one of my listed subjectmarks.

also, on the people section, it would be good to be able
to browse and add searching of messages from people I'be
peoplmarked.

thanks,

Ojing.
