homs lost money. press release was spin. that is why this very large cap stock is going down.

On a GAAP basis, the company’s revenues for the quarter were $62.2 million, compared to $18.6 million for the third quarter of 1999 and $50.2 million for the second quarter of 2000. The net loss for the quarter was $27.1 million, or $0.33 per share, compared to a net loss of $34.2 million, or $0.65 per share, for the third quarter of 1999, and $24.7 million, or $0.31 per share, for the second quarter of 2000.

net loss, 27 million, or loss of 0.33 per share.
only the seconday sale money is keeping homs alive.
ths large cap is going to go down as soon as the big investors are gone.
good luck,
hope you don't own too much (g), as glad you are happy.

I got stopped out yesterday at $42 a 50% gain in 17 days.
Like I said, I'm happy here.

BTW: We are an internet company (Duh!).
You can't look at GAAP, the "real" measure is whether we are spending more money than we make, the cash flow profitability we announced.
If the deal to purchase Move.com goes through, we'll be hit with years worth of non-cash charges that will insure lack of GAAP profitability.

Hey you shorts...
How come you're not spreading the FUD about share dilution and stuff from this acquisition?
Could it be that the additional assets more than make up for the dilution?
Or are you starting to realize that the management here really knows what they're doing.

You all be careful out there
Ray
