There have been several questions posed and answered about advanced search in Classic SI on the ThinkTank thread over the last few weeks.

During the beta version, we're only putting advanced search in one look & feel. We won't be including it as a feature in classic or NDB's message boards or the current look of the site until the beta version is over and we release it as an integrated feature.
