Is this not your post?:

<I noticed you completely ignored the statistics. With all of the folks going to jail in Texas, including a tremendous imbalance of incarceration of non-violent crime offenders against the national average, the crime rate in Texas dipped only five percent, compared to the state of New York where the rate dipped 21 percent.>

Is this not my reply?:

<Let me give you an answer. After 8 years of Mario Cuomo as Gov., NY lost about 10% of our population who fled the state to get away from the huge tax burden and to chase the jobs we lost because because of his regulations and taxes. Texas on the other hand has been growing in population and is way up in job and economic growth. Now you go check the stats.>

The point being NY population is down therefore it is reasonable to assume fewer people equal fewer crimes. Texas population is up therefore a smaller decline when you compare to both states histories matched to a window 5 years ago. In other words both states would be impacted by the population swings. How is that spin? It's not as if I said it was due to NY growing more apples or Texas gets more illegal immigration, that's spin.
