David, I heard there will be no campaign because AMD is sold out for Q4. Makes sense, IMHO. Tbird selling by its GHz/$ ratio, Duron being infrastructure limited (urkh). Ad campaign for K6? <g> I'm worried about PIV. Don't worry. P4 is good for AMD (Q1/Q2). Everyone who can't afford a 1.5 GHz P4 system wants a GHz PC in a similar performance range for less $. Customer learned for 20 years now: more MHz, higher price. This habit will not change soon. As for P4 and Q3/Q4, we'll see. Too far away. I hope Intel will eventually prepare the ground for 64-bit computing. Hammer being the 64-bit-Volkswagen-CPU.:) My uneducated guess, Boris PS. Just saw you picked some Intel. As for me, I'll wait a bit. If they get out of this mess without further visible scratches - kudos for the terrific job. If not, I'll give them support down there.
